Rajinikanth and his epic makeover
It is highly qualified to say that superstar Rajinikanth is an enigmatic personality. He has been able to entertain people for many decades and his style and skill have earned him a good reputation. The film ‘Rajini the JAILER’ features him in the role of a kind-hearted grandfather who polishes the shoes of his son (who is a police officer played by Vasanth Ravi) and his grandson. At the same time, separating his character from stardom, the character reveals the spirit of a husband and father who has the ability to see beyond his limitations.
Nelson Dilipkumar back with ‘Beast’
Nelson Dilipkumar, who plays a pivotal role in the film, portrayed the role of Thalapathy Vijay in ‘Beast’, a man who has been affected by PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). Here, in ‘Rajini the JAILER’ VTV Ganesh, who plays a doctor, says that Rajinikanth has been affected by a disease due to which he will turn into a kitten. But, he warned them that he was likely to suddenly transform into a tiger. And we see this epic transformation of Rajinikanth, in which he can now indulge in devastating attacks. This reminds us of that great adaptation of ‘Baasha’, don’t you think so?
It seems that Nelson has hidden many aspects in Rajinikanth’s character. And as a result, it can be great fun for the audience!

A mighty villain
Vinayakan, a Malayalam-speaking person, played the role of the villain in the film. He is very angry with the person who blackmailed him in the first place. They have decided to kill the person who tried to be their accomplice. Vinayakan’s performance certainly challenges us to move forward in the days to come.
Jackie Shroff’s callback on Baasha scene
Jackie Shroff, who plays a pivotal role in the film, can be seen giving information about Muthuvel Pandian’s role to a man. His dialogue reminds us of Rajinikanth’s famous dialogue in ‘Baasha’, which ends with ‘Enaku inoru prati irukku (I have another name)’. The only difference in ‘Rajini the JAILER’ is that Jackie Shroff hypes Rajinikanth’s character.
More than just swords and knives, you can see that Rajinikanth can handle machine guns and much more! It reminds us of that Kamal Haasan machine gun scene in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Vikram’. Do you think so?
Both ‘Rajini the JAILER’ and ‘Vikram’ show the two superstars being disguised as one person, then revealing their original nature depending on situations and circumstances.
Ramya Krishnan and Rajinikanth
Ramya Krishnan and Rajinikanth won a place in the hearts of many with their unique performances in ‘Padayappa’. Now they are seen together again in ‘Rajini the JAILER’. Ramya Krishnan, who plays his wife in the film, is shocked when she comes across her husband’s changed face. She sees that a man has come to their house and killed someone, and the body falls near his wife and daughter. Ramya Krishnan asks them, ‘Can we stay here?’
Rajinikanth even says, ‘I have decided to go a long way. I can come back when I complete everything. If this doesn’t remind us that Rajinikanth is heading towards the end of his career, we are not well-informed by this amazing quote!
The trailer of the film ‘Rajini the JAILER’ ends with the song ‘Hukum’ by Anirudh Ravichander. This reminds us that Rajinikanth has crores of people who would give their lives for him. How epic is this!
Seems so far away now, doesn’t it?”
